This tarot bag is all about stability and order. The cables along the edges offer both structure and padding to keep the edges of your cards protected. The liberal top flap and dual buttons keep your cards completely covered, and the tight fit keeps them in place securely, even if you want to throw them in a bag and take them with you (I won’t judge). The number four, evoking stability power and protection, comes out strongly in this pattern in several ways: the box stitch pattern on the flap and upper rim, the four by four cables, and the stitches in multiples of four.

The pattern assumes fingering weight yarn, and size two needles, but it can be easily adapted for other weights.
