Create an enchanted looking blanket with a woodland-inspired new crochet-along (CAL) for 2023. The Enchanted Wood throw is a versatile piece featuring an intricate collection of textured stitches intertwined together.

Originally the the Keep Calm and Crochet On UK. crochet along for 2023; Part 1 starts on Friday 20 January with the CAL running for 8 weeks, each Friday, ending on Friday 10 March 2023.

The whole pattern is available for free on my blog. It is also available in a printer friendly PDF version in my Ravelry store (for a one off payment). Each weekly instalment, as the CAL runs, will become ready for immediate download in either UK or US terms - you should receive automatic updates from Ravelry when each new section is ready.

Yarn:

You will need at least 1600g (16 x 100g balls / 4,000m / 4368yds) of yarn for this CAL and I would suggest it works best in at least 8 - 10 different colours. Full yarn details can be found on the blog.

Hook: 3.5mm (US size E/4)

Finished Blanket Size: 122cm (48”) wide x 137cm (54”) long
