A plush cable flanked by squishy garter stitch surrounded by deep ribbing. Unisex in concept, this pattern skews somewhat “masculine”.

This cable pattern is simple enough for newer cable knitter, and provides a “mindless” knitting for experienced cable knitters.

Written and charted instructions are included.

Pattern produces dimensions of 6.75” x 68” when worked with a gauge of 5 sts/in.on size 8 needles.

While I used an easy-care acrylic, feel free to substitute your favorite worsted weight yarn, you will need AT least 400 yards. I used almost all of 2 skeins of Premier Yarns Everyday (100% Acrylic, 203 yards) in Pine Green.

I used needle sizes 6 and 8, a cable needle, and a yarn needle for weaving in the ends.
