Welcome to the pattern for the Ever After Hat! Once upon a time, years before this pattern, I designed the most magical mouse ear headband pattern. During its debut many disneybounding crocheters came to love it, but also brought up a valid question! Could this be adapted to work with a hat? “Of course it could!” I thought to myself as I immediately began plugging away at the new modification. Thanks to the support of many, including my lovely testers and yarny friends, we now have a design that is fit for many types of parkgoers! Another opportunity for us to add some magic to our stitches in our own way!

This is an intermediate level pattern, written in US terminology. Pictures and graphics are also included to help you visually understand the creation process. The basics and trickier parts of this pattern will also be covered via video tutorials on the Woven Tales Designs YouTube channel for those who need that extra visual aid.
You will also be using these intermediate level skills when working up this pattern: crocheting continuously in the round, working into the 3 rd loop of a half double crochet stitch, and seaming crochet pieces together.
