The Ever-Changing Cowl
I’ve had my eye on the Spike Stitch for a long time now. I’ve always loved the beautiful texture it makes. For this cowl I combined an alternating spike stitch with another lovely textured treat. A half double crochet, alternating between front and back loops. The ever-changing nature of this stitch pattern will keep your mind sharp and your hands busy. And the result is a thick, cozy cowl that is as stylish as it is warm.
The downloadable pattern includes tutorials for the Spike Stitch (Lsc), working into the 3rd LO, and an alternate joining method when working into the 3rd LO.
