The Everknit
The Everknit is an amazing knitting pattern designed for ANY GAUGE, ANY YARN, ANY NEEDLES and ALL THE SIZES!
Sometimes we want a pattern that can be knitted for all the year!
With a lovely bamboo yarn you can have a wonderful summer cardi, like my version A.
With a lovely thick mohair, a wonderful winter version, like my version B.
With a more extravagant yarn with sequins, you can have a more elegant piece for special occasions, like my version C.
Take your favorite yarn and a pair of needles.
The needles do not have to be the size recommended in the yarn. Choosing a bigger needle size you will get bigger holes and a more airy look.
Steps to be followed:
- Knit at least 10 cm / 4” of the lace stitch pattern repeat (provided in the pattern) and, after you block it, note down how many stitches you have in 10 cm / 4”.
- Decided your final bust circ. with the positive ease included!
With these 2 numbers you go to the tables of the pattern and you check all the information for your size!
Inside the pattern you will find also instructions in case you want to add sleeves.
We are starting a KAL in the group where we can post all possible options of yarn, colors and mainly enjoy knitting the Everknit. Please join us here.
Actually translating the pattern into Spanish, French German and Portuguese.
Finished Bust Measurements
From 79 cm (31”) to 198 cm (78”) finished chest circumference; meant to be worn with a maximum of 35 cm / 13.75″ positive ease.
