The Everything Hat Pack (Stripes Edition)
The Everything Hat Pack (Stripes Edition) contains four patterns to knit three different hats, and a headband. You’ll find tips and tricks for working seamless stripes too! Choose ribbed, stockinette, fingering, or DK to create a stack of colorful hats in a wide range of sizes from kid to adult!

2 X 2 RIB WITH A FOLDED BRIM (DK)
SIZES
Measurements below refer to the circumference of the head,not the finished hat.
Kid (19 - 20” / 48 - 51 cm) S (21” / 53 cm)
M (22 - 23” / 56 - 58 cm) L (24” / 61 cm)
GAUGE
24 sts x 35 rnds = 4 x 4 “ / 10 x 10 cm, worked in 2 x 2 rib
in the round and blocked.
MATERIALS

Note: To achieve a DK weight, I held two strands together to knit the hat! The amounts listed below refer to the TOTAL amount of yarn you will need.
Knitting for Olive Merino Fingering 100% Merino Wool; 273 yards (250 meters) / 50 g
(1.7 ounces) in the following colors and amounts:
Navy Blue: 64 (64, 102, 120) yards / 59 (59, 93, 110) meters
Poppy Blue: 79 (79, 120, 143) yards / 72 (72, 110, 139) meters
Soft Peach: 114 (114, 148, 169) yards / 104 (104, 135, 155) meters
Blood Orange: 114 (114, 148, 169) yards / 104 (104, 135, 155) meters
Needles
US size 4 (3.5 mm) 16” (41 cm) circular knitting needles, or DPNS. If you are knitting on a small circular needle, you will need DPNs or a long circular for magic loop when you are decreasing for the crown. You can also knit the entire hat on DPNs or with magic loop!

Several yards of DK waste yarn (or two strands of fingering waste yarn held together)
Needles
US size 4 (3.5 mm) 16” (41 cm) circular knitting needles, or DPNS. You can also knit the entire headband with magic loop! You will also need an extra set of US size 4 (3.5 mm) needles for finishing. I knit my hat on a 16” (41 cm) circular needle, and then used a long (36” / 91 cm) circular needle to kitchener my live stitches together (more on that later!)
