The Felted Succulent Planter
This is a simple, beginner-friendly pattern to make an adorable little home for a succulent plant. It assumes knowledge of the techniques of casting on, garter stitch, stockinette stitch, decrease, and bind-off. There are instructions for felting.
While any 100% wool yarn will work, the suggested yarn is Noro Kureyon. The pattern is worked with needles slightly smaller than yarn suggests to make a tighter stitch for better felting and to better hold in the soil. With one skein of Noro Kureyon, you should be able to knit three planters. This is also a good project for scrap yarn since it uses so little yarn.
The pattern is for one size, which is about four inches tall. However, part of the charm is the natural variation so making some bigger or smaller is completely okay!
