Inspired by the Dr. John Watson cable knit sweater, I decided to create a scarf. This is for people who either aren’t ready for a sweater, or prefer to wear their love for John around their necks.

Also, please keep in mind, this is the first time I’ve ever written a pattern down for others to use, so if you come across any problems or questions, please feel free to get in touch with me. I think it’s pretty straight forward, but others might not.

Oh, and I would like to thank TrudiB for letting me use her chevron chart as the pattern for mine.

Update 12/30/2013 - The Cowl Option!
For those of you who would like to convert this scarf into a cowl, the lovely Faith, aka KnittingMom9, came up with the modifications to do so! You can see them here on her project page.
