The florette shorts are a made to measure and size inclusive pattern, you will need 10 colours of any 4ply (fingering weight) cotton yarn, a 3.5mm crochet hook to meet gauge and some elastic which will be placed in the waist at the end. This pattern is an advanced beginner-intermediate level, although it I believe it could be suitable for beginners if you know the basic stitches, it is very detailed and has pictures throughout each step.
