The Flying Spaghetti Monster
This is a written pattern with pictures for specific steps of the process only, NOT the finished object. It’s written in US terms and it contains a full abbreviations list of the terms used in the pattern.
Skilllevel: intermediate to experienced
Note:
Gauge is not crucial for this project. You can use any yarn of your liking. The size will vary depending on the size of the yarn and the hook you use. So, if you use thicker yarn, it will become bigger and with thinner yarn, it will be smaller. To avoid holes, where the filling is showing through, you should use a smaller hook than the smallest recommended hook for your yarn. I can’t give you the exact measurements for the styrofoam balls and the cylindrical object, since the size of these objects depends on the size your tree topper is becoming.
Materials and tools:
DK yarn in three/four colours and a 3mm crochet hook
Stitchmarker
Scissors
Needle
Fiber fill or styrofoam balls for the eyes
