❉ What you get!
Create a whimsical and fantastical Forest Sprite Cap for yourself with this 15 Page pattern! This pattern includes a mixture of written instructions, charts and photos.

Your Cap will comprise of a rugged tree bark spiral and hat base with TWO options for finishing: both a brimless, snug cap or a self-structured archer style rolled brim. Instructions are then included for how to make accent ferns and leaves to embellish your hat.

❉ Supplies:
Yarn -
200g brown aran yarn for cap
Aran yarn scraps (less than 10g of each colour) in green and earth tones for optional fern and leaf decorations

Recommended hooks -
5.5mm and 5mm hooks are essential.
4mm or 3.5mm hook is recommended for optional fern and leaves.
Notions - Yarn needle, stitch markers and measuring tape.

❉ Experience Level:
This pattern is recommended for intermediate crafters or adventurous beginners.
You will need to know basic crochet stitches (including increase/decrease, front/back post), how to work with a magic ring and how to read a crochet chart. Instructions for how to read my charts are given.

❉ Sizing:
This pattern is designed to fit a 21-23in head, but size adjustment advice is given. A measuring tape is essential and I recommend trying on your work as you go. A gauge is not given because you will be working to your own measurements and preferred fit.

❉ Pattern Notes:
This pattern uses US crochet terms.
