These Foxy Mittens are just adorable.

This design looks complex but it is actually a very simple design. You are only working with 2 stitches SC for the band and FPDC for the body. You create the design with color changes.

This pattern is written for a nicely fitted teen adult mitten. It will also stretch out with use. If you find the mittens too tight then go up a hook size to a 5mm.

These mittens are worked from bottom up. Once you create the band you won’t cut the yarn you will seam and then work in the round. The mittens are worked in the FPDC ST and you are mostly working with color changes to create the design.

The total yardage in roughly 260 to 275 yards.
You will require a minimum of 4 colors or yarn. A main color for you mitten of your choice black, white/cream and orange.

main color 205 yards
black 25 yards
orange 20 yards
white/cream 15 yards
