Sometimes keeping it simple is best.

This is my version of a hat bought from Francesca’s. I made it to replace one that was lost. It’s a simple slouchy hat that can be made smaller, into a beanie, or larger for more of a slouch look.

This hat has become my “go to” pattern for a very quick and easy knit. It’s a great project while traveling.

The pompom, purchased from Amazon, is attached using a button to make washing easier. And so with the pompom optional, this pattern can serve as a unisex gift!
