This is a popular pattern that is FREE on my blog at www.thefriendlyredfox.com. I am offering it here with additional photos, tips and tricks, and some add ons in a printable pdf version.
This is a perfect beginner pattern for those new to amigurumi. I include tips and tricks for those new to amigurumi and can be helpful for those who already love it! I include many photos for each step of the process. Written using U.S Crochet terms.
The pattern is a PDF and you will need Adobe Reader to open it. This program is free to download. Feel free to contact me if you need any help!
You will need:
Approx 150 g size 4 yarn (I used I Love this Yarn in Limelight)
Crochet Hook in Size 3.75
Tapestry Needle
Polyfil or preferred stuffing
12mm safety eyes
stitch marker
Embroidery thread for eyebrows
This crochet alligator is about 10 inches long when made with the recommended yarn. I consider it a beginner pattern and it works up pretty quickly! The crochet alligator’s head and body are made in one piece, and you will attach the legs and ridges on the back. I love the expression on his face!
