The Friendly Mermaid Doll

The Friendly Mermaid Doll is a little under 12 inches tall and 4.5 inches wide (not including the arms and hair.) This is the perfect doll for little girls who dream of being a mermaid and swimming in the sea. For this mermaid, I recommend using size 4 worsted weight yarn in whatever color you prefer. This particular one used Stylecraft’s Special Chunky in Cream. The beauty of the doll is that you are able to customize her in any way you would like! Enjoy making her!

This is a good advanced beginner pattern. I include A LOT of tips and tricks for those new to amigurumi and can be helpful for those who already love it! I include many photos for each step of the process. Written using U.S Crochet terms.

You will need:
Approx 100 g size 4 yarn
Crochet Hook in Size 4.0 or 3.75
Tapestry Needle
Polyfil or preferred stuffing
10 mm safety eyes
stitch marker

You will need to know how to use a magic circle, single crochet and how to increase and invisible decrease. I include instructions for the invisible decrease.
