The Frost Feather Beanie is an intermediate / advanced pattern. It is worked in rows, slip stitching the end of the row to the beginning of the row. The pattern indicates throughout when to, and when not to turn. Also included are instructions to make The Frost Feather Beanie wider or narrower, and shorter or taller.

The gauge for the brim is 5 rows = 2 inches x 2 inches. The gauge for the main hat is rows 3 to 8 by 4 stitches = 2 inches x 2 inches. Use a tighter gauge for the main stitch. If needed, decrease a hook size.

Materials needed:

1 skein medium (4) yarn – approximately 225 - 250 yards
5.0 mm hook, or hook needed to obtain gauge
Scissors
Darning needle
Pompom (optional)
