This whimsical headband has embroidered flowers on stockinette stitch, alternating with a twisted stitch texture, to create the timeless chequered fabric texture. The headband is worked flat, then sewn together, and then the rib is picked up and worked in the round in a slip stitch pattern.

The headband streches! The adult size (44cm/17.25in) fits up to 53cm/21in head cirumference, so measure as you knit to adjust for the perfect fit.
