For “Cable-Lovers” everywhere, this is the fingerless mitt pattern for you. There are two distinct cables in the mitt. The center cable is quite striking and is bordered by a second lesser known cable stitch. The underside cable is the same as one of the forearm cables, making this one of the easier of my mitt patterns, although it is still not a beginner pattern, by any means. The thumb gusset insures maximum movement allowable. If you are a lover of cable knitting, these mitts will be fun for you to both make and wear. In addition, they will insure that you can text, type and knit in style and warmth.
These mitts are knit using two circular needles, and all the stitches are both charted and written out line by line.

This pattern was expertly tested by Rebecca Wood, who can be reached at: rkwood16@ gmail.com, and who is known on Ravelry as Rebs16. The yarn used to knit these mitts were Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sport, which is no longer available. A good substitute would be Fleece Artist’s BFL Sport yarn
