This sock is meant to be a tribute to Holmes and Watson—a classic and elegant sock. Though it is not complex, it does have a few unusual elements (like the best Sherlock Holmes stories). The simple cable and ribs extend to the back of the heel and go all the way to the toes. The heel flap and gusset are built together, and when you turn the heel, the gussets are decreased. It’s is a super stretchy sock.

One skein of Tough Love Sock or a sock yarn with similar yardage will comfortably make all 3 sizes. I made a pair of Size 11 Women’s socks from one skein and had quite a bit leftover.
