The Gaudi Shawl is an asymmetrical triangular shawl, that is knitted from the right corner to the left corner. The size of the shawl is achieved by continuous increases at the sides. The left corner is shaped by short rows.

The Gaudi Shawl is inspired by the Cathedral “Sagrada Familia” in Barcelona Spain. In this cathedral, Antoni Gaudi has realized his dream of life and his conception of contemporary design. The nature inspired shapes and the grandiose play of light through the colourful church windows were my inspiration for this clear shawl design.
What skills you need: knit stitches, purl stitches, yarn over, icord. 99% of the time you knit knit stitches, only 1% are purl stitches.

Der Gaudi-Schal ist ein asymmetrischer, dreieckiger Schal, der von der rechten zur linken Ecke gestrickt wird. Die Größe des Schals wird durch ständige Zunahmen an den Seiten erreicht. Um die linke Ecke auszuarbeiten, wird mit verkürzten Reihen gearbeitet.

Der Gaudi Schal ist inspiriert von der Kathedrale “Sagrada Familia” in Barcelona, Spanien. In dieser Kathedrale hat Antoni Gaudi seinen Lebenstraum und seine Vorstellung, von zeitgenössischem Design verwirklicht. Von der Natur inspirierte Formen und das grandiose Lichtspiel durch die farbenfrohen Kirchenfenster waren meine Inspiration für dieses klare Schaldesign.
Was du können solltest: rechte Maschen, linke Maschen, Umschläge, Icord. Zu 99% strickst du beim Gaudi rechte Maschen, nur 1% sind linke Maschen.
