The Giant Poppy
Make a statement with this beautiful giant poppy!

Following the classic shape of the remembrance day poppy, this pattern is quick and easy to work up.

Gauge is not important for this pattern making it easily adaptable to any size and a great pattern for beginners looking to expand their skills. In order to achieve the ‘giant’ size, you are required to crochet two strands together as one.

Hook: 4.5mm & 5mm
Tools: Scissors & Needle
Yarn: Scheepjes Catona (4ply) 100% Mercerised Cotton
Poppy - 115 Hot Red (2x 25g Balls)
Leaf - 412 Forest Green (2x 10g Balls)
Yarn: Rico Fashion Cotton Metallise (dk)
Poppy Centre - 006 Onyx (2x 50g Balls)
(1 ball of each is enough, but for each colour you will be working using two strands together)
