A festive tree picked out in bobbles on a stockinette background; this 10” pillow cover is knit flat in one piece, folded and seamed up the sides, and has a button or tie closure, so you can use it to add a festive touch to regular throw pillows.

I had some decidedly non-festive throw pillows and some very Christmas-y old acrylic yarn, so I designed a simple pillow cover to make the pillows match the seasonal decor. I have been very blessed by all the free patterns that people have shared on Ravelry, so I decided to write up what I did and offer it free as a way to give back to the Ravelry community.

This is my first attempt at writing up a pattern or a chart, and it has been tested exactly once, by me. I guarantee, however, that it will be worth every penny you pay for it.
