This sock pattern was inspired by the children’s book, The Giving Tree.

It is a story about unconditional love and the lengths one will go to support and make someone else happy. It also teaches that material objects don’t equate to internal happiness.

This pattern has a strongly textured cable, inspired by tree bark and delicate eyelet openings, mimicking leaves.

This is being released as the June pattern for the Spartickes Dyes yarn club.
