The Glitch
The Glitch is an experimental sweater design that features very different yarns and is a great waste yarn project. It is knit as a top-down Raglan sweater in the round. You can adjust the size of the sweater by gauge and also add more or less stitches for the underarm cast on. These two options (combined) will get you the perfect fit.
If you want to knit this sweater with a useful guide on how to achieve a visually striking design, you can also get the BUNDLE: The pattern plus a Workshop Paper: An in-depth, easy-to-follow guide that explores the importance of value in stranded knitting. link text

NEEDLES USED FOR SAMPLE
Needle A: 2,75mm circular or DPNs 80cm or longer for Magic Loop 40cm for knitting in the round, with matching DPN’s.
Needle B: 3,25mm circular or DPNs 80cm or longer for Magic Loop 40cm for knitting in the round, with matching DPN’s.
IMPORTANT NOTE
By reading through the instructions you will notice that the most important thing about this pattern is that YOU decide on your gauge and needles. Sample (1) on the cover is mainly knit with sport weight yarn and one string only. The second sample is knit with DK weight yarn and I often combined two strings of fingering. That also helped for the transition between colors.
