This shawl epitomizes what I love about shawl knitting. It is the perfect canvas to play with different techniques and color combinations! Enjoy playing with mosaic knitting, bobbles, and even some eyelets in this satisfying worsted weight shawl pattern!
Finished Measurements:
Wingspan - 76”/193 cm; Center Depth - 25”/63.5 cm
Yarn:
Worsted Weight in 3 colors - 220 yds/100 g each
I used up as much of this yarn as possible while knitting this shawl. If you are worried about having enough due to nuances in gauge, I recommend purchasing extra skeins.
Suggested Yarn:
Sample 1: Brooklyn Tweed Ranch 01 (220 yds/100 g)
Color A - 1 skein Tannin + Iron (Grey)
Color B - 1 skein Madder (Coral)
Color C - 1 skein Marigold + Indigo (Aqua)
Sample 2: Stone Wool Cormo (200 yds/100 g)
Color A - 2 skeins Ozark 01 (Light Blue)
Color B - 2 skeins Tobacco 03 (Toffee)
Color C - 2 skeins Ozark 03 (Dark Blue)
Suggested Needles:
US 8/5.0 mm 32”/80 cm circular recommended
Use the needle size you need to obtain gauge.
Notions:
2 stitch markers
tapestry needle
scissors
Gauge:
16.5 sts x 24 rows = 4”/10 cm
Measured over stockinette stitch after blocking.
