Brrr, the cold is coming! Here’s another stretchy, warm, and quick hat pattern for Aran or worsted weight yarn.
This one is a ribbing that turns into a simple cable and then into a wide ribbing.
This hat can be made short like a beanie, long like a stocking cap, or as a slouch hat! This stitch pattern was designed to work well with variegated, solid, or tonal yarns. Though it looks great in stripes too!

You can make this one with worsted or Aran weight yarn. Instructions include Information for using other yarn weights.
