The Granny Cape
Hey everyone and welcome to the Granny Cape! This is a made to measure pattern as I think it’s great being able to grab any kind of yarn from your stash and just get straight to it. I will provide measurements that you can work towards, or you can go rogue and make the cape as long or as wide as you wish! There is also a video tutorial to help you on your way!
This is a fantastic mindless project, perfect for chilling in front of the TV or listening to a good audio book!
Written in US terms for an adventurous beginner!
Suggested size -
Width from arm to arm - 80cm (I explain how to make this wider).
Length - 56cm (You can make it longer).
Est. Yarn - 600g (based on Hobbii Carnival and a 6mm hook).
Suggest yarn - Anything drapey and I recommend going up 2 hook sizes from the recommend hook size!
I would love to see your cape or any progress pics! Please tag me on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube or TikTok @craftandacuppa #thegrannycape #grannycape
