The Grater Wrap
I call this The Grater Wrap because it has the look of a cheese grater with the pattern of the eyelets. That is where the similarity ends as it is soft, squishy and warm. The use of larger needles gives a nice drape. It is made up of 5 triangles, with the central triangle having a more open eyelet pattern.
I love bright colors, so this wrap definitely gave me an opportunity to show off the great colors in this yarn. The picture shows Stitch Studio Mystic Waves yarn in color Pyrotechnic. I have learned since I published this pattern that this particular yarn may no longer be available. However, you can substitute same weight yarn with long color changes to make the triangles in this wrap “pop.” I do not recommend using the cake yarns that have abrupt color changes as they tend to visually break up the look of the triangles.
I love making this type of wrap. It is my “go to” knitting project to relax.
