When designing this beanie I had two goals in mind that I needed to achieve. I wanted a perfect fit and I wanted it to go well with just about everything in my wardrobe. This is my go-to beanie that I trust will always look good when I put it on.

I love the look of a rolled beanie but do not love when the cuff falls down. The technique I used is secure with the look of a double roll while using less yarn. I added a fisherman’s rib on the cuff to add a bit of interest. The decreasing at the top is seamless and will not bunch up for an overall clean look.

This hat is an adult size and will fit all genders.

Materials needed:

Brooklyn Tweed’s Loft Yarn
100% American Targhee-Columbia Wool

This is the yarn I used however any other
finerging weight yarn will do!

48g color no. 1
48g color no. 2

You will hold 2 strands together.
If you would like a solid color beanie,
hold 2 strands of the same color.

US 3/3.25mm 40”/100cm

US 5/3.75mm 40”/100cm

You will be working in magic loop so I
highly recommend the longer cable on
the circular needle.
