A quick & easy knit cowl with personality for instant gratification. Made on large needles and 3-4 strands of yarn, will also keep your neck and surrounding areas very warm.

• Deluxe Dk OR Worsted SW Tweed by Universal Yarn – 1 ball

Let’s talk about color for a minute before we go on to the rest of our materials list. The idea for this cowl and what makes it so interesting to the eye, is that we emphasize and enhance the primary color of the Cobblestone. This is the strand that the color that stays throughout the ball and doesn’t change; unlike the other strand which is variegated. Though choosing one of the colors in the variegated strand will also be pretty but, it will not create the same effect as the fabric shown; where you can see that the body of the cowl is more teal with the variegated throughout. This combined with the bind-off of just the Cobblestone makes a lovely contrast. You could also use the non-tweed version of Deluxe DK/Worsted SW, we just liked the Donegal bits for extra personality.
