The Gtank
The G-Tank, the name comes from a series of stories I had on instagram where I posted the beginnings of the tank (the straps) and had people guess what I was making… many guessed a G-string or thong. I dont know how many of those were serious guesses but there was a lot of them so the name just kinda stuck from there - the G-tank.
This is a loose fit top, designed with 4-8 inches of positive ease. Refer to Size chart in the pattern for measurements.
Sizes included: XS - 5XL!!!
This is a fun pattern to use up your yarn scraps or get creative with your color choices! The pattern uses a minimum of 3 colors and up to 6 different colors.
Approx. yardage: XS: 320 - 5XL: 745 yards (approximate yardage per size is listed in the pattern)
This is a top down pattern, after completing the front panel, you will pick up the stitches on the straps and work your way down the back, seaming the sides at the end.
Recommended yarn : WeAreKnitters Pima cotton YARN DISCOUNT MGMGK8NHS
other suitable worsted/aran weight substitutes: wool and the gang billie jean cotton, lionbrand comfy cotton or 24/7 cotton
using a substitute yarn may affect your sizing
Difficulty:
This pattern is suitable for advanced beginners - this pattern uses the intarsia technique.
