I named these patterns “The Happy Beginner’s Series” for both you and the new knitter. You will find these patterns are very easy to follow yet with very encouraging results.
The pattern 1-1 and 1-2 are simple one piece construction for fingerless gloves. You can choose the style of stitches base on how much you want to learn (or teach).
The pattern 1-3 is one step up from the basics.
and 1-4 & 1-5 starting to introduce knit in the round….
