An easy to make hat that any hooker (I mean, crocheter) will be happy to make and wear. Using simple stitches, this adult size hat is offered in two lengths - beanie and slouchy. The beanie hat is more fitted and the slouchy hat has a more relaxed fit (in circumference and in length). The hat will fit heads approx 18-22” {46-56 cm} in circumference. Construction is made with basic stitches in an easy-to-memorize pattern and creates a wonderfully squishy fabric that is perfect for keeping out cold weather. Decreases are incorporated seamlessly into the stitch pattern and are basically invisible.

beanie:
color A = approx 160 yds {146 m} (Patons Classic Wool Worsted, Aran)
color B = approx 50 yds {46 m} (Patons Classic Wool Worsted, Currant)
slouchy:
color A = approx 250 yds {229 m} (Patons Classic Wool Worsted,
Dk Grey Mix)
color B = approx 50 yds {46 m} (Patons Classic Wool Worsted,
Lemongrass)

Optional: Stitch marker
