The Hartney Bay Scarf is an advanced beginner level pattern and is knit flat. This pattern features cables with a memorable “border” that stands out. It gets its namesake from Hartney Bay in Cordova, Alaska- a rural fishing community with unmatchable beauty.

The Hartney Bay Scarf can be made into a short, medium, or long length and can also transformed into an infinity scarf. The pattern is worked flat and can be altered to fit however you choose.
I recommend steam blocking or wet blocking this project.
