Cables scream “FALL” to me - as do hats! This beauty has been in my design queue for months. I’ve wanted to create something with textured cables for the longest time.

As part of my Pathology training, I was sent to a special site for a couple weeks, where I had the opportunity to work beside physicians from another local program. One of them and I clicked almost immediately over a love of rice krispies and chocolate chip cookies. She saw me knitting, which sparked a long discussion, that ended with me offering to make her something. I used it as an opportunity to create this!

The pattern has been tested by amazing knitters and is easy to read and understand - a basic knowledge of cabling (or willingness to google/youtube it) is necessary. It works up fast, and has a classic look.

It is ideal for worsted weight / Medium 4 weight yarns. Required needle sizes (US 6 & 8) and approximate yardage for each size are specified in the patterns. Instructions are included for premie, baby, toddler, child, teen, adult small, adult medium and adult large sizing.
