When you want to say everything, there is so much, you are at a loss for words - This hat is for you.

I wanted to knit a hat that was inspired by my husband. Endless ideas were scribbled in my pattern book and trying to put everything into one cohesive design seemed like an impossible task.

Then I got an idea.

I grabbed my phone, opened the voice memo app and recorded myself saying, “I Love You.”

When the soundwave lines appeared on the screen I took a quick screenshot and that Image was the inspiration behind the hat. For your loved ones, his hat says everything when there are infinite things to say.

Yarn Used:

• This hat calls for 2 contrasting colours of a Worsted weight yarn.
• For my sample, I used Arcane Fiber Works Worsted (Aran) in the following shades…
• Colour A - ‘Always and Forever’ (Could not have been a better name) (110 yards)
• Colour B - ‘Wine Time’ (60 yards)

Needles:

• You will need a 3.75mm and a 4.50mm needle on a 16” cord and a 4.50mm needle on a 40” cord for Magic Loop, or DPN’s. Choose your favourite method for knitting small circumferences.

Gauge:

• 18sts / 4”

Size:

• will fit a head circumference up to 24”

• 2 Stitch Markers, 1 unique for BOR

• Scissors

• Darning Needle
