This baby hat pattern works up quickly and is adorable! It is an easy pattern, suitable for adventurous beginners, as well as more experienced crocheters. It is suitable for both boys and girls.

I used Michael’s Store Brand Loops and Threads Impeccable yarn in my samples. It is size 4 Worsted Weight yarn that is similar in weight to Red Heart Super Saver. If you choose to use a lighter weight size 4 yarn like Caron Simply Soft be sure to check your gauge - you might need to go up a hat size to achieve the correct size hat.
