Please see the Google Sheet pattern for clearer images of the Hero’s Song Scarf charts, and this Google Sheet for the Guidance Stone version of the scarf.

Please note that there is a mistake in the PDF on row 464, square 40. The square is black while it should be blue. This error has been corrected in the Google Sheet, but not in the PDF pictures.
Also note that the letter “E” in the Guidance Stone PDF pattern is slightly different than in the other patterns. I corrected it in the Google Sheet version, but not the PDF.

A Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild inspired scarf! This scarf is made using the double knitting technique, so the two sides are mirrored.

The characters along the edge of the scarf are Sheikah runes, and says:
A dark force of destruction, many times undone,
Rises once again - Ganon, the calamitous one.
But hope survives in Hyrule, for all is not lost,
Two brave souls protect it, no matter the cost.

These are the 2nd and 3rd verses of the Hero’s song, sang by Kass the Rito at every stables. I thought it was a fitting poem that resumes not only the game, but the entire LoZ series.

I included charts for each letter, so you can customize your scarf by writing whatever you want!

Gauge doesn’t really matter, as long as you get a scarf that isn’t too small nor too big! You can use yarn other than Woolike, but I recommend staying with super fine or sport weight yarn.

UPDATE (2019/05/16)
I changed the PDF documents to include another pattern based on the Guidance Stones. I haven’t made this scarf yet, but I thought it was cool and wanted to share it!
I also created a separate PDF documents for the individual Sheikah characters, for your customizable scarf.
