This poncho has an elegant feel with the special texture created by the herringbone stitch. Adding the fringes makes it especially on trend. It is great for those who love a little boho in their style.

The pattern is written for Extra Small/Small, Medium/Large, XL/2XL and 3XL.

Once you master the herringbone double crochet stitch, which is just a variation of the double crochet stitch, it is beginner friendly.
It is a simple construction made up of two rectangles. This poncho pattern is also great for beginners as there is no edging at the neck or bottom. I love the simplicity of the finish. Adding the fringe is also optional, but I just love fringes.

Ponchos are so on trend right now. You can make the Herringbone Poncho with your choice of worsted weight yarn, either acrylic, wool or cotton, just look for the number (4) on the yarn label.

It is a beginner to advanced beginner crochet pattern, with easy to follow instructions. It is in US terms.
