Why this pattern is better… You have less ribbing! Ribbing seems to take forever, not anymore. The look of a thick double band without all the work. Less stitches with yarn doubled. No need to change needes, all knit with the one size needle.
The increasing is easy! Just knit into each of the strands of the stitch.
The decreasing is foolproof. No more counting, just place your markers and away you go.
The stripes are worked out for you in rounds so you don’t need a tape measure.
Knit your favourite teams stripes or knit it all in one colour. Add a pom pom or tassel for fun.
