This newly reworked headband pattern features a slight variation on a classic chain-link cable. Whereas cables typically alternate crossovers, one side of this cable always remains on top, forming the moral ‘High Road’. Although both paths contain twists and turns, one comes out on top of each crossroad every time.

Detailed step by step instructions are provided for the stitch pattern, as well as charted instructions. Sizing is easily adjustable by increasing/decreasing the number of cable repetitions.

PLEASE NOTE: This pattern incorporates both knitting AND crochet techniques to complete. Centre cable band is done with knitting needles, and edging is completed using a crochet hook to add the perfect finish. An alternate edging can be done by picking up stitches with DPNs instead of a crochet hook (not included in pattern).
