The Honeycomber
The Honeycomber looks difficult, but it’s not. What you see here is the magic of slipped stitches. No Fair Isle, no nothing. Just slipped stitches. All you need to know is knitting in the round and decreases.
This pattern offers instructions for two weights of yarn. Gauge for fingering is 30 sts and 39 rnds in Honeycomb. Gauge above is given for sport version.
Madelinetosh Pashmina: Sport version shown (orange/grey) - larger needles
Wollmeise: Fingering version shown (blue/green) - smaller needles
Madelinetosh version uses approximately three-quarters of each skein (adult average)
Wollmeise version uses less than half of each color (youth).
