Hello and welcome to The Houndstooth Cardigan! This classic style looks great in black and white, but feel free to try other colours. It’s simple to make with three long rectangles, making it perfect for beginners. You can use any yarn and hook; I’ve based the pattern on aran acrylic yarn (category #4) and a 6mm hook. It comes with 9 sizes XS-5XL and is for an adventurous beginner. The pattern is written in US terms.

Yarn Est. is based on Aran weight acrylic scrap yarn and a 6mm hook and working the base of the cardigan to 60cm + upper panel section.
