The Ideal Basic
The IDEAL BASIC is just that. It’s the one sweater you reach for time and time again. It goes with everything and can be dressed up, or worn more casually.
Each size has been test knit by separate, independent knitters to ensure accuracy and sizing.
Each section for front/back, left/right has been written out in full to a void having to work “reversing all directions”.
The back is worked in two sections and seamed down the center for stability.
The sweater encompasses fundamental techniques such as invisible CO and BO, 3-needle BO, Japanese short rows and dolman shaping; all skills you can use in your future knitting.
And best of all, it’s a quick, fun knit that works well with any worsted, heavy-worsted or chunky weight yarn.
