The Illusionist Socks pattern was designed for the Biscotte Mystery Sock Club in November 2017. The pattern was re-edited in 2024 with a new yarn and pictures added.

Entitled The Illusionist, this design creates the appearance of Fair Isle knitting—yet it’s not! The pattern employs a simple “magic trick” involving a mosaic pattern, meaning that you have to slip stitches strategically, making it easy to achieve this stunning effect.

It’s the perfect pattern for experimenting with self-striping yarns, resulting in a spectacular display of contrasting colors!

You have the option to purchase the pattern only or the knitting kit, which contains both the yarn and the pattern needed, at no extra price!
