The In-Between Headband
NOW UPDATED FOR A NICER SHAPE AND WITH A NEW FLOWER DESIGN!
The “in-between” in the name comes from the fact that dc stitches are crocheted in between the posts of the previous row instead of the top loops as you normally would crochet. This method allows the row increases in the middle of the headband to blend in well with the other dc stitches. Having the increases in the middle of the headband also allows for the headband edges to be uniform with the rest of the body of the fabric and the edges of the fabric aren’t so visibly loopy. By using this “in-between” method, this hand-crocheted headband has a uniform appearance that the edging is optional!
