Add warmth and style to your fall and winter wardrobe with this very handsome and unique hooded cowl. Hand knit using lofty 100% wool roving that is warm, soft, and a pleasure to knit with. The cowl dips slightly in the front to keep the neck and chest warm and the oversized hood provides added warmth when pulled up over the head.

The Inga Hood is knit in one piece and requires grafting.

Finished measurements:
13.5” wide at neckline, with an approximate circumference of 27”
10” long in front, from neck hemline to longest point
Hood: 15” high x 10” deep

Skill level: advanced beginner/intermediate (grafting required)

Material List:
#5 Bulky weight wool yarn, approximately 240 yards
US size 11 24” circular needles
Darning needle
Stitch markers, one color marker that is unique in color or shape to mark the end of round
Stitch holders or scrap yarn

Note: This pattern calls for two skeins of Paton’s Classic Wool Roving, and will use just about all 240 yards. If you knit loosely, you may want to purchase an extra skein to be sure you’ll have enough yarn for the project.
