The Jessie Cowl
This cowl is worked in the round to start and then is split to be worked flat. It takes approximately 5-10 hours to complete, and approximately 130-150 yards of super bulky yarn. Keep in mind that there is some variation in super bulky yarns, and my sample was knit in a heavier super bulky. It does not have to be blocked, but I recommend blocking for a flatter and cleaner finished item. The flaps curl up on the edges without blocking. The best part about this cowl is that it works perfectly for coats that are v-neck or don’t zip all the way up. It works especially well for dress coats. The neck can either be rolled up like a traditional neck warmer or rolled down to be worn like a turtleneck. It’s such a classy piece! I added the back flap to help prevent snow and draft from sneaking down your back. I hope you love this piece as much as I do.
