This is a free chart for The Jesus from The Big Lebowski. The PDF also contains instructions for adding the optional eyelids and tongue. (Nobody licks The Jesus, but for some reason, The Jesus licks his bowling ball.)

To make this, you need gray yarn - or another background color of your choice - plus purple, black, beige, and a tiny bit of white. For the optional tongue, toss in a bit of pink, rose, or red.

If you want to turn The Jesus into a potholder, you should plan to make a second square of the same size in your preferred color. I always like black, but that’s because I always like black.
